Preparing your inhaler
Before first use, store your inhaler in a refrigerator (at 2-8°C) for a maximum of 18 months. Once open, use your inhaler for a maximum of three months and do not store above 25 °C. Before using the inhaler for the first time (or if you haven’t used it for 14 days or more), hold your inhaler upright with the mouthpiece at the bottom, direct the mouthpiece away from yourself and firmly depress the canister to release one puff.

Using your inhaler
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor, nurse or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor, nurse or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Try to stand or sit in an upright position. Remove the protective cap from the mouthpiece and check it is clean.
Breathe out as slowly and deeply as possible.
Hold your inhaler upright and put your lips around the mouthpiece.
Start to breathe in slowly through your mouth, and press down firmly on the top of the inhaler to release one puff.
Hold your breath for as long as possible, then remove the inhaler and breathe out slowly.
After use, replace the protective cap on your inhaler and check the dose indicator on the back.
Important: The dose indicator shows how many puffs are left in your inhaler. When the dose indicator reaches 20, it’s time to request another inhaler prescription. If you need to take another puff, keep the inhaler in the vertical position for about half a minute, then repeat steps 2 to 5. To lower the risk of a fungal infection in your mouth or throat, rinse your mouth, gargle with water or brush your teeth after using your inhaler.
Cleaning: To clean your inhaler, remove the protective cap, wipe inside and outside of the mouthpiece and actuator with a clean, dry cloth or tissue. Replace the protective cap.
AeroChamber Plus: If you find it difficult to use your inhaler while starting to breathe in, you may use the AeroChamber Plus spacer device. Ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse about using a spacer.
Do not use Proxor®: if you are allergic to beclometasone dipropionate or formoterol fumarate dihydrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in the 100/6 or 200/6 Package Leaflet that came with your medication). Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor, nurse or pharmacist has told you.
